Yes I think (hope) so. It was a wonderful Spring day today - sunny, temperatures about 12° Celsius (which is about 54° Fahrenheit) and perfect for walking the dog. And there in the middle of nowhere I found them.
Crocuses, a pale purple and really beautiful. And it weren't just a few. No there was a whole lot of it.
Daughter was in Spring mood too.

Amarylis II
Of course I had to sketch my Amarylis as well.
I used watercolor pencils as I am trying to get used them because I think they might be easier to use when travelling (easier than watercolor that is).

Amarylis
For Christmas I got an Amarylis - a flower in a pot which was by then no more than a large bulb and some leafs.
Then a strong stem started to grow carrying the beginnings of the flowers ...
... and after a view days the first flower emerged.
The next day the second flower opened ...
... and soon four beautiful flowers were in full bloom.
For a few days I could enjoy those beauties.
But to soon they withered and the marvelous show was over.
Yet even in decay nature showed its beauty.
