My wish that came true
Whale watching was on top of my "to-do-in-life" list quite long. No wonder as I live in Austria, in the middle of Europe with no ocean for approximately 2000 kilometres in every direction.
But in 2011 we went to Australia's west coast - an incredibly beautiful trip. And even better - it was the season where the humpback whales migrated just along the coast. So whale watching we went. I still get goosebumps thinking of this experience.
I can honestly say I never saw anything like these whales that day. It still gives me chills. Would go again any day.
